10:00 on 22/06/2010: Each year children have great fun with their friends, taking part in their short sponsored walk. Anyone can join in; from nurseries, cr?ches and playgroups, to parents, friends and family, and you can do your toddle at Beale Park! Everyone who Toddles gets a fantastic event pack, which is packed with goodies to help make the most of your fun day out. The money you raise goes to our projects that help children learn and play. These include family centres, play groups and counselling services across the UK.

A pavilion for Victoria Park

10:00 on 05/11/2009: Everyone is invited to attend the exhibition. It will feature a model of the park and the proposed pavilion plus displays giving details of the project, the history of the location including pictures of the original canal basin, and how the scheme fits with the wider aspirations for the area. Staff will be on hand to answer questions. Feedback forms will be available asking for views on the scheme and thoughts on how best the new facility could be used.

10:00 on 30/05/2010: Highclere Country Fair is on the second May bank holiday and countryside enthusiasts come out to enjoy this premier countryside event. Throughout the weekend the countryside will come to life with field sports enthusiasts and families alike enjoying world class displays and demonstrations in the Main Arena. Both regular field sports enthusiasts and those enjoying a great family day will throughly enjoy the day with a chance to take part in a wide range of have-a-go activities and competitions.

10:00 on 15/05/2010: Full details of 2010 event are yet to be confirmed but last year activities included an archery competition, living history, petting zoo, climbing wall and morris dancing and refreshments included a hog roast and beer tent. There will be loads to see and do including a shopping fayre and craft market and parking is FREE!

11:00 on 06/12/2009: Come to the house and have a go at our floral decoration workshop. Listen to the ladies of the Speenhamland Ladies Choir sing carols and join in if you would like to! There will be a mini Christmas bazaar, with stalls from the Newbury Tourist Information Centre selling fairtrade jewellery and gifts from Newbury, West Berkshire Museum selling local history books and the 3rd Newbury Scouts selling Christmas decorations. Enter the lucky dip, enjoy hot chestnuts, mince pies , hot drinks and delicious cakes and there are even more shopping opportunities in the Gift Shop.

10:00 on 04/06/2010: There will be a wide variety of inland and sea-going boats on show for you to try and buy. Friday attractions include free boat trips (subject to availability), talks and demonstrations, classic cars and Newfoundland dogs display and additional attractions on the weekend include live music, family canoe trips, cookery demonstrations and children’s activities. With so much to see and do, why not get afloat and have a go!
